Chicago's Norwood Royal Cigars owner, Vick Shah, known by many as "The Don." recently released two personally blended cigars.
Produced by industry icon Oscar Valladares in Danli, Honduras, the first is the red-band Don V Corojo (152 x 20.6 | 6 x 52), Honduran puro, meaning that the filler, wrapper, and binder are all puro Honduran. This medium-to-bold, rare, and highly sought-after Honduran puro, has creamy sweet notes of fresh hay and cocoa, subtle transitions to berries and bananas - the perfect spicy punch, and no offensive aftertaste.
The second is the bolder, medium-bodied blue-band Don V Maduro (size Toro and Gordo), from Jalapa, Nicaragua. With a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran fillers, this cigar is sweet, with darker and creamier cake-battered chocolate notes, and perfectly balanced spiciness on the retro-hale.
